Beston sugarcane bagasse charcoal making machine is one of the most sustainable ways to recycle sugarcane wastes. Recycling bagasse using traditional methods does not maximize the benefits and may cause side effects. We offer small to large machine and one stop solution for investors. Please keep reading to explore making charcoal from bagasse.
Why Make Charcoal from Sugarcane?
In fact, there are many ways to recycle bagasse. Sugarcane is the main by-product of sugar production. The traditional method of sugarcane bagasse uses is as livestock feed or paper. A large amount of accumulated bagasse will be moldy and fermented, which will have a negative impact on the ecological environment.
However, using bagasse to make charcoal can not only solve the problem of ecological environment pollution conveniently and quickly but also bring out the greatest economic benefits of bagasse. Using bagasse to make biochar can ease energy pressures and help investors profit.

Uses of Sugarcane Bagasse Charcoal
Soil conditioner – bagasse biochar can reduce the mobility and toxicity of zinc in acidic metal-contaminated soils, and biochar-improved soils have higher affinity for zinc adsorption;
BBQ charcoal – bagasse charcoal is smokeless and tasteless when burning, it is the best choice for barbecue charcoal;
Factory fuel – many factories use biochar as fuel instead of coal. Because biochar has more affordable price and higher calorific value.

Technology of Making Charcoal from Sugarcane Bagasse
In the drying stage( inner charcoal furnace ), the temperature is around 150°C the external and internal moisture of the raw materials are evaporated by the heat supplied from the outside, and the shape of the raw materials does not change at this time.
In the carbonization stage, the temperature is around 220-270°C. The sugarcane bagasse is begin to decompose and release gaseous products(suchas CQ, CO2, H2S, etc.). The chemical composition of the sugarcane bagasse begins to change and the temperature at which different materials begin to pyrolyze is different materials with a low degree of deterioration also start at a lower temperature for pyrolysis.
The temperature in the carbonization process is 270-400°C and the reaction is mainly polycondensation and thermal decomposition. A large amount of volatiles are precipitated from the raw materials and almost all products such as methanol and ethylene precipitated in the carbonization process are produced in this stage.
Why Choose Beston Sugarcane Bagasse Charcoal Making Machine?
High Heat Efficiency
The material is not in contact with the flue gas and is not polluted by hot air,and the heat utilization rate of the single-laver external heating structure is more than doubled.
Internet of Things
Monitor product usage.operating parameters faults and other information, and grasp product information in real-time.
Energy Saving
The heat utilization rate of this equipment is higher, the use of air heat exchangers can effectively improve thermal efficiency by 5-10%, and the energy-saving effect is good.

Tips for Making Biochar from Sugarcane
Moisture – bagasse has a higher moisture content. Before entering the carbonization furnace, the moisture needs to be controlled at about 15%;
Size – bagasse size is not uniform, in order to achieve better charcoal effect, you better control the size of the bagasse by 2cm;
Shape – carbon blocks and carbon rods need to be mixed with water, binder and carbon powder after slagging and then make sugarcane bagasse into biochar briquettes.
Beston provides all support for your production. When customizing the plan, you can freely choose whether you need a dryer, a crusher, a rod maker, etc.
Bagasse Charcoal Machine Reduces My Carbon Footprint, Right?
Almost certainly! Sugarcane is one of the best plants for reducing carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. This is because of something called carbon sequestration. This means that as sugar cane grows, it takes carbon dioxide from the air and turns it into biomass. Sugarcane absorbs more carbon dioxide per hectare than almost any other plant as it grows. The researchers even suggested that expanding sugarcane production could reduce global carbon dioxide emissions by as much as 5.2 percent.
Bagasse charcoal has made outstanding contributions to carbon sequestration and emission reduction.
