Beston charcoal production machine can convert various waste biomass into high value products such as charcoal, tar, wood vinegar, etc. At present, the charcoal production line has been successfully installed in Turkey, Malaysia, Nigeria, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and other more than 30 countries and regions, and has been well received by customers.
How to Choose Charcoal Production Machine for Your Business?
There are many charcoal production machines on the market, but after all, this is a large investment, so it is best to consider many aspects to choose the best charcoal production machine for your business.
Identify your raw materials
Conventional charcoal production machines use waste biomass such as sawdust, rice husks, etc. as raw materials. Of course, other wastes such as sludge, household waste, medical waste, etc. can also be recycled through Beston biochar machines. Different raw materials also vary widely in price in different regions, so choosing the right raw materials can save you part of your production costs. Beston Group serves global clients and can provide you with local market research reports, please contact us for access.
Determine Your Daily Throughput
In addition, customers entering this industry can choose a charcoal making machine with a smaller processing capacity. Beston has also served many customers who use charcoal making machines for experiments. After using them for a period of time, they are very satisfied with the quality and service of Beston’s equipment and repurchase charcoal production equipment with larger processing capacity.
Batch or Fully Continuous Method
Beston charcoal production machines have two working modes: intermittent and fully automatic. The batch charcoal production machine needs to wait for the machine to cool down completely after one round of work before the next round of production. While continuous charcoal production does not require cooling time, it can work all the time, and only needs to be shut down for maintenance at a specific time. Most customers will choose the working method of the charcoal machine according to the local labor cost and daily processing capacity.
Below are Beston’s 3 tips for picking out a charcoal maker. The table below will provide you with more professional information. How Does Charcoal Production Machine Work? – Charcoal Production Process
The working process of the charcoal processing machine can be roughly divided into three stages: feeding – carbonization – discharging – exhaust gas treatment.
1. Raw Material Handling
Since the smaller the feed size, the smaller the gap between the materials, the smaller the oxygen intake, and the higher the quality of the charcoal obtained, so you need to control the size of the raw material within 2cm. Beston offers crushers to support your business when the raw material you have is oversized.
Since biomass is derived from nature, it has a higher water content, which may affect the quality of charcoal. The normal feed moisture of the charcoal production machine is below 15%, if the moisture content of the raw material is too high, you can contact Beston to provide you with a dryer (each dryer can reduce the moisture by 15%).
2. Carbonization/Pyrolysis
The principle of making biochar is that biomass is heated and heated to cause molecular decomposition to produce coke, condensable liquid and combustible gas. Carbonization is an important utilization form of biomass energy.
Beston biochar kiln adopts a double-layer design, so that the material will not be in direct contact with the flue gas, nor will it be polluted by hot air. Compared with the traditional single-layer vertical carbonization furnace, the heating structure of the Beston charcoal production plant can achieve a higher heat utilization rate, and is more energy-saving and reliable.
Discharge
Charcoal, tar, wood vinegar and other products will be cooled by a water cooling system before being discharged, and the temperature at the time of discharge can be controlled below 35 degrees Celsius. This ensures the safety of workers in production. And Beston’s discharge system has a clear division of labor and high work efficiency.
Combustible Gas Treatment
A large amount of flue gas generated in the process of charcoal production will be transported through the pipeline to the paper primary dust collector, and after purification, it will be transported to the combustion furnace as a heat source. The exhaust gas after heat source utilization will be discharged as tail gas after being purified by the dust collector again. It is worth noting that the exhaust gas emitted by the Beston charcoal production machine is non-polluting to the environment.
Other Questions About Beston Charcoal Production Machine
How Much Charcoal Can I Get from the Charcoal Production Machine?
We take wood chips, rice husks or pulverized coconut shells as examples, and each ton of biomass with a moisture content of less than 10% can obtain 280kg-310kg of finished charcoal. After removing the water, the carbon yield can be basically maintained at 3:1.
This is the result of many tests at the Beston factory, but it cannot be used as the only criterion for judgment. You can send raw material samples to Beston for testing to get the most accurate data.
How Much Wood Vinegar and Tar Can I Ge from the Charcoal Production Machine?
Taking biomass with a moisture content of about 10% as an example, each ton of biomass produces about 20kg-40kg of tar and about 40kg-80kg of wood vinegar (the higher the water content, the more wood vinegar is obtained). The ratio of tar wood vinegar is about 2:8.
How Long Does the Charcoal Process Take?
Taking wood chips and rice husks as an example, it takes about 15 minutes to complete the entire biomass pyrolysis process. If you are dealing with larger size materials, such as coconut shells, the charcoal process can be extended to around 18-22 minutes.
The charcoal production time is affected by conditions such as raw material density, size, moisture and product requirements.
